Are you, or someone close to you, gluten free? Think a gingerbread house is out of your reach? Think again!
The other night a friend of mine made a gluten free gingerbread house with her 6 year old son.
I’m gonna tell you how she did it!
First, lets talk about the things you’ll need:
- Miniature Reese Cups
- Regular M&Ms
- Peanut Butter M&Ms
- Air Heads
- Christmas Dots
- Tootsie Rolls
- Milk Duds
- Junior Mints
- GF sprinkles – variety pack
- Hershey Kisses
- Mini Candy Canes
- Pillsbury pre-filled pastry bag (vanilla)
- Betty Crocker vanilla frosting
- Betty Crocker milk chocolate frosting
- Plastic Candy Cottage
The Pillsbury Bag was used to coat the roof. The Betty Crocker frostings were used for the base and snowy wall.
Anything that needs stuck together gets glued together with a dot of frosting.
The best part guys is that this house is PLASTIC! It just snaps together.
That also means that at the end of the season, you just scrape all the frosting off, wash it, and then store it away until you need it again.
You can use it for other holidays too!
HAPPY HOUSE BUILDING!!
